Charlotte Church (born February 21 the 21st of February, 1987) is an opera singer hailing from Llandaff Wales in the United Kingdom. Welsh singer-songwriter popular for her pop and classical recordings. Her albums have been sold worldwide. Crazy Chick became her first top-selling single. Church wished to portray Hermione Grenger in Harry Potter Films, however Church would like Emma Watson in Harry Potter to play Hermione. Emma Watson was selected to portray the character. Church's mother Maria Cooper was a computer programer as was her dad Stephen Reed is a Llandaff resident of Cardiff Wales. Charlotte as well as her mother Stephen Reed left when Charlotte was only two years old. Charlotte then was raised entirely with her mom. Charlotte was raised as a Roman Catholic.
