Anna Silk is a Fredericton resident, and is the daughter of Peter Silk, who was an academic. Her mother, Ilkay Silk, had many talents, including being able to direct, act and produce plays, as well as write them as well as teach and serve as Director of Drama for St. Thomas University. Anna Silk was born to both a British father as well as an Turkish-born mother from England. Anna was a part of numerous commercials when she was a child. Anna moved in Toronto for her acting to develop. In the following years, she was able to move to Los Angeles. Seth Cooperman was introduced to Anna in Los Angeles at an acting workshop in 2007. The two were engaged by 2009. Anna was converted to Judaism in January 2011 and the couple renewed their vows in an Jewish wedding in Fredericton.
