Amy Smart, an American actress and former model. Born in California USA, Amy Smart began her modeling career there. The first time she acted was in the TV film Her Costly Affair. It was a long road to get her into Starship Troopers in a smaller character. In the beginning, it was hard for Amy to transition from modeling to acting. This is because most models don't have the ability to act. In the majority of cases, they're assigned small and insignificant roles. Amy didn't give up, and she eventually landed larger roles in films Varsity Blues and The 70s. Amy then stepped into lead roles in the 2005 romantic comedy film Just Friends which also starred Ryan Reynolds. Amy was recognized after more than 10 years trying. There were several major films in the Crank trilogy alongside Jason Statham. And she was also a regular character in the Shameless series.
